St Petersburg Russia - part 3

We spotted the flying angel bearing a cross atop the spire of Peter and Paul Cathedral and headed in that direction again. The angel and the needle spire below it are covered in copper gilded sheets that are easily seen above the multi-level bell tower. We bought our tickets and headed inside.
